The Family Ark is capable of housing a couple with a small family, aspiring a simple tiny house lifestyle. The difference between the Family Ark and the Ark is it's double sized bathroom, mezzanine level and living area.  This mezzanine level is capable of housing one queen sized bed, along with two single beds.

ARK SPECIFICATIONS

NORTHERN ARK INCLUDES: ​ 
- Pontoons for the base that can be used to store water. 
- Tanalised plywood for the end walls. 
- Tanalised tongue and groove retaining timber as the floor. 
- Sheets of Zinc alum corrugated Iron for the roofing.
- 25mm Polystyrene for insulation
- Plywood for the interior cladding and interior walls. 
- Guttering and pipe to connect to pontoon water tanks.  
- Washroom kit includes:  Flushing Toilet, 900mm x 900mm shower cubicle, vanity unit with basin and tap.   
- Kitchen kit includes: Stainless steel bench top, kitchen sink with two cupboards.  Macrocarpa slab bench.
- Doors: 3 x tanalised pine doors. Two hinged doors for the entry way and one swinging door for the bathroom. ​
​- Windows:  4 x handmade Macrocarpa round windows.  
​- Plumbing: 5L califont. 12 volt water pump with 20 watt solar panel battery (this can be exchanged for 240volt pump if connection to mains).  Plumbing needed to run water from pontoon waters to bathroom and kitchen.
​Lighting:  4 x portable solar charged lights.
