Building onsite allows this Tiny Home to have a wider berth, at 4.8m wide and as long as 9m. The building process will take approximately 2-3 weeks, weather dependant. Each Ark is built to NZ building code standards, by our small but skilled team.
Building on pontoons allows us to speed up the building process, as each Ark does not need site specific foundations. These pontoons also act as water storage, which is connected to the facilities in the bathroom and kitchen area.
BUILDING CONSENT & THE ARK
Unlike most Tiny Home providers, we encourage our customers to apply for building consent before the construction of their Ark. The Ark has a Multi-proof Certificate, which helps fast-track the building consent process. Our team is happy to advise you through this process, and provide any documentation needed.
